NIKOLE METTRO; CEO
Nicole Watson aka Nikole Mettro was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Born February 3, 1990, the young female R&B and Hip-hop artist has a passion to explore the depths of Hip-hop music. Nikole Mettro is a young and motivated emcee who dreams of selling out arenas and reaching the top of all music charts. Mettro has been rapping and singing since the young age of two when her grandmother asked her to sing for her. Her influences are Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Will.I.Am, and Drake. She writes her own music and she has performed in local clubs located in Charleston, and Greenville, South Carolina as well as local spots in Atlanta, Georgia from year 2010 to 2013. Mettro has released two mix tapes; "So Magical" in 2010 and "Lost in Outer Space" in 2011. In 2012, Mettro was blown away by the talent and stylings of local rapper Kid Cool. It was then that Mettro wanted to start her label, "Alien Nation," and sign Kid Cool. Later in 2013, Mettro added two more talents, Phresh, and Dean Alsetto and recruited DJ Killa'JJ as the primary Producer. Mettro's music is played on the radio in her hometown Charleston, SC and she longs to be heard all over the world. Her musical topic ranges from club bangers and love songs to a bit of conscience music. She calls herself “Mettro” because she likes to brush up on all topics of living in a metropolitan area i.e. clubs, love, lust, break-up, drugs, alcohol, etc. She rapp's, sing's, and writes her own music which makes her a triple threat. She strongly feels like the rap game should be aware of her presence once she hits the map because the only place she's going is to the top!
KID COOL
Aikeem Eugene Frederick aka Ace Da Kid is a Lyricist from Charleston, Sc. He was born August 13,1994 and in his days he has been through a lot that has given him a reason to want to become someone life. Realizing that he was a gifted and passionate writer Ace began rapping as a form of is self expression materializing from his deep thoughts. He has worked with Solo G'z Ent. and is now apart of team he has grown to love named "Alien Nation". This group consists of a current total of 5 people; Nikole Metro, Killa'JJ (HumpJumpa),Phresh,Dean Alsetto and himself. Musically, Kid has performed at many open mics ranging for South Carolina to Georgia and even won in his first talent show his first year as an artist! He's also performed at Hard Rock Cafe, Geechee One, The Mill, Club Rehab,Island Bar and Grill, The Ville, Birthday Parties,and has competed in 5 different contest. Kid has always believed that even though times are hard you have to keep moving restating his motto to himself "Movement is Life" meaning that to live you must grind to grind you can not sit back you have to move and go get it equaling(Movement is Life)! Ace is an artist with much potential, a wise mind, and a bright future ahead of him.
KILLA'JJ
Joesph Hunter aka Killa'JJ, is an american music producer and songwriter. He was born September 20, 1993 in Charleston, SC. Occasionally, he blesses the mic with his lyrical illness where he releases the rage of his alter ego, HumpJumpa. Killa'JJ is the key beat maker in the Alien Nation movement and he also plays live instruments like the piano, guitar, and drums. Killa'JJ's instrumental beats ranges from Hip-hop and R&B to Pop, and Gospel. Some of his biggest influences are Dr. Dre and Mannie Fresh. Killa'JJ is on the rise to becoming one of the youngest most talented producers in the south, and with him on team Alien Nation, he will be able to provide the world with the best beats that will shut your system down!
PHRESH
Jesse Jenkins aka Phresh and formerly known as Lil Jigga is a young up and coming artist whose live and intense demeanor on tracks will give you no choice but to nod your heads. His major influences are Tupac, Biggie, Dr Dre, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake and Meek Mill. Phresh is a Charleston native and was born on “the 26th of 1994” as referenced in the song “Soap”. He is the total package of singing, wordplay, delivery, and all around rapping skills. His main inspiration for his music was the simple fact that nobody would listen to him or hear him whenever he told people about his rapping skills or pay his musical side any attention. Phresh’s diverse subject matter on songs gravitate mass quantities of people on topics such as the struggle, the hustle, money, street life through the eyes of a bystander, gunplay, and imagining the luxury of getting to “the top”. Phresh switched his name from Lil Jigga to instill a since of professionalism and tried to deviate from your average local artist. Originally the name Lil Jigga came from his aspirations to be “the little Jigga” referring to Jay-Z and his love to dance and jig. With a new name and a new attitude Phresh has blessed various stages across Charleston and is played on local stations regularly. He joined "Alien Nation" in mid 2013 and has recently put out the mixtape “Phreshman of the Year” which was his first official mixtape and plans on taking the music scene by storm.
Dean Alsetto
De’Angelo "Dean Alsetto” Evans was born October 17, 1989 in Charleston, SC. Raised on James Island by a single mother, he started singing at the tender age of 7 years and began rapping at age 14 and found his niche for writing at the age 15. Growing up, Dean Alsetto listened to Micheal Jackson, Janet Jackson, and TLC. In his teenage years, he fell in love with the dancing and song stylings of Ciara and Chris Brown and longed for the worldwide attention and fan base of the Queen B; Beyonce Knowles. In September, 2013, Dean Alsetto joined the upcoming label, Alien Nation founded by his close friend Nikole Mettro and co-founder Killa'JJ. With Alien Nation, Dean Alsetto has been able to record at the studio non-stop and make major hits that are sure to top the charts. His sound is a mix of R&B, pop, hip-hop, and dance music. He loves to write songs that brush the topics of love, pain hurt and lust.
His first single is called, “Ride It” produced by Killa JJ and his upcoming album, “The Terminator” will be an eclectic mix of R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, Pop and Urban Vibes.
